About Baseball Connections
Baseball Connections is inspired by the New York Times Connections puzzle, but fully themed around Major League Baseball. Every day, 16 baseball-related words or phrases are mixed together — your challenge is to sort them into four groups of four.
Some groups are straightforward: four players who won the MVP award, or four teams in the same division. Others require lateral thinking — four words that can follow "ball," four players whose last names are also common nouns, or four stats that belong to the same legendary season.
The puzzle is designed to look solvable from the start, but the hardest groups contain "trap" items that seem to belong in multiple categories. Think carefully before submitting, and save your mistakes for the tricky ones.
Free to play with no account required. New puzzle every day. Share your colored grid to show friends how cleanly you solved it.
