PerfectSzn
Draft 10 MLB legends from any team and era · Simulate 162 games · Try to go undefeated
How to Play PerfectSzn
- 1
Each round, the slot machine spins and lands on a random MLB team and decade — for example, the 1990s New York Yankees or the 1970s Cincinnati Reds. You see the top players from that team and era, ranked by WAR (Wins Above Replacement).
- 2
Pick one player to fill the current position: Catcher, First Base, Second Base, Third Base, Shortstop, Left Field, Center Field, Right Field, Starting Pitcher, or Relief Pitcher. Ten rounds, ten picks.
- 3
After all 10 picks, your team is simulated through a 162-game season. Each position is weighted by its impact — the Starting Pitcher carries the most weight, followed by up-the-middle positions. The better your WAR totals, the more wins you rack up.
- 4
The goal: go 162-0. An undefeated MLB season has never happened in history. Build the greatest dynasty ever assembled and see how close you can get.
About PerfectSzn
PerfectSzn spans the entire history of Major League Baseball — from the 1920s New York Yankees of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig to the 2020s Los Angeles Dodgers. WAR (Wins Above Replacement) is used to rate each player, the same metric baseball analysts use to compare players across eras.
The slot machine draw forces a decision every round: is a good player from a great franchise better than a great player from a weaker one? Should you take a legendary 1960s shortstop over a solid 2010s one? Every spin is different, every game is a new puzzle.
Reaching 162-0 requires near-perfect scores at every position — think Sandy Koufax, Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Honus Wagner, and Mike Trout all on the same team. Most dynasties finish in the 100–140 win range. That final push to perfection is the real challenge.
